Our Team

Dr. Ed Hastain has been serving the animals of Summit County since 1990. Dr. Caroline Cervelli joined the clinic in October 2018. Dr. Libby Van Gundy joined in May 2019. The Breckenridge Animal Clinic strives to provide the best quality small animal care while retaining a “small town doctor” feel that is often missing from many large animal hospitals.  Our staff and our doctors take a personal approach to treating your animal and we really take the time to get to know both the animal and the owner which helps us determine the best course of action.
The Breckenridge Animal Clinic is focused on preventative care.  More than anything, we believe that a successful animal care program begins with prevention and we try to educate our clients on the best ways to prevent disease and illness before it happens. This keeps pets happier and saves our clients money in the long run.  Should you require advanced procedures such as ACL repair, digital radiographs (x-rays) or dental surgeries, we are equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and facilities to handle any of these advanced procedures.
